Breakfast of Science Champions

Twenty five middle schoolers from Columbus Public Schools visit the Department of Linguistics to learn about "doing science" in linguistics. Students spend half a day within the department starting with an informal breakfast and introductions to staff and faculty. Afterwards, small groups of students participate in three separate language science pods where they get a taste of what the study of languages looks like in a fun, active, and hands-on setting.
