Breakfast of Science Champions - Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center & Center for Applied Plant Sciences Host Site

ABRC and CAPS join together to serve as a host site for Ohio State's annual Breakfast of Science Champions program. In 2018 we were paired with the Columbus Spanish Immersion Academy. On November 7th, we hosted 20 students, two teachers and one parent chaperone for breakfast, a meet the scientist chat with Dr. Jessica Cooperstone and TPS PhD Fellow Parker Evans, a tour of the ABRC laboratories and growth facilities, and a hands-on investigation in the Biotech Support Facility
