Each summer I present a hands-on "science is fun" program for the Columbus Metropolitan Library's summer interns. This year's topic was vibrations. The interns learned how vibrations produce sound and how a loudspeaker amplifies sound. Then interns made a working speaker from an aluminum pie pan. This was a big hit with the interns.
