Global Citizen After School Program

Undergraduate students teach the world language and culture(s) that they are studying at OSU to Middle School Students at Indianola K8. OSU students learn the fundamentals of full-immersion language teaching and of teaching culture, and create lesson plans with the guidance of a professor specializing in world language pedagogy. The current plan is that one or two Indianola 8th grade student(s) (depends on enrollment numbers) will attend the training portion of the course and serve as assistant(s) when the OSU students are teaching at Indianola.
