Wonders of Our World-- STEM Outreach Program for Elementary School Teachers

W.O.W. adopts whole elementary schools for a period of three years. Professional development workshops for teachers offered at their schools before or after school day six times a year. Volunteer workshops prepare local scientists and science majors to support teachers in the classroom. Experiment sessions are scheduled. Volunteers collaborate with teachers to implement the experiments in the classroom. Program performance is evaluated.
